National Beta members from Willow Springs High School proudly participated in the Missouri Beta State Convention, held January 16-18 in Branson. The event was a success, with two students earning top honors:
Cooper Poor: 2nd place in U.S. History (10th grade)
Sophia Barrett: 5th place in Psychology (12th grade)
These accomplishments qualify them to compete at the National Beta Convention, scheduled for Summer 2025 at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
The State Convention offers students opportunities to showcase their skills in individual and team competitions, as well as run for leadership positions. National Beta, the largest independent youth organization, emphasizes academic achievement, character, service, and leadership.
Special thanks to Mrs. Siler and Mrs. Cochran, Willow Springs High School Beta sponsors, for their dedication to the program.
