Robert James is in his 6th year as Athletic Director for the Willow Springs School District. He previously served as a physical education teacher for Willow, middle school and high school coach, assistant elementary principal and transportation director. He has 18 years of experience in working for a school district and 13 years of coaching experience.

Robert graduated from Willow Springs High School in 2000 and went on to graduate from College of the Ozarks with a degree in physical education where he also played college basketball. He received his masters degree from William Woods University in educational administration and his specialist degree from Arkansas State University in educational leadership.
